After working for more than 6 years on a design project of the international brand for a reputed company, we decided to venture out for a firm. Our aim was to provide best in class design services at an affordable cost. In December 2012, we formally gave the direction and pace to our intent and we began working exclusively in our own brand.
We executed many design related projects since our start. We also won public design challenges for few projects. While working on one of the project we made a new type of mechanism for the household and industrial doors. The new mechanism was to ensure that in no circumstances the fingers get crushed between the door and the jamb. The concept was to have negligible clearance between the door edges and the jamb which otherwise remains very large in usual cases.
Year 2020 was shadowed by the advent of horrific Covid-19 virus across world. The pandemic led to to closure of many businesses while others struggled to get the business going. This also affected the business of design globally since many companies halted their new products. For us, the year 2019 was marked by the diversification of design in the e-mobility segment. We executed some of the best design during 2018-19 for the battery operated bikes and scooter. We did well in the design of the injection molded plastic parts and most of the products are still in the market and continue to earn our customers a good value.
Since 2018, we did supported our customer with design & manufacturing. However, those manufacturing were limited to smaller complexities and had limited scope of experimentation. It was until 2020 when we started getting some good project in the manufacturing with high to moderated complexities. The year 2022 marked improved learning and technical ability to handle complex industrial projects. The year also led us to explore the utility of the multi-scale and multi-physics simulation driven design. We are now more confident and capable in handling complex design challenges and manufacturing.
